1. Introduction

PDFly ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Files you upload

Files uploaded to PDFly are processed only for the purpose of running the tool you selected. Whenever possible, processing happens in your browser and your files never leave your device. When server-side processing is required, files are stored temporarily on encrypted infrastructure and automatically deleted shortly after processing — typically within one hour. We never read, share, sell or use your files to train any model.

3. Personal information we collect

You can use PDFly's free tools without creating an account. When you contact us via email, we collect the information you choose to provide (name, email, message). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

4. Log data

Our servers may automatically record standard log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps. This data is used for security, abuse prevention and to improve the service.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for essential site functionality, analytics, and (with your consent) advertising. You can manage cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit and through your browser settings. Read our Cookie Policy for more detail.

6. Advertising — Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to PDFly or other websites.

Uploaded files are deleted shortly after processing. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymized.

10. Children

PDFly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
