How to Unlock a PDF — Remove a Known Password

User password vs owner password
PDFs can have two passwords:
- User password — required to open the file.
- Owner password — controls editing and printing permissions.
If a file requires a password to open, you'll need to provide it. Owner restrictions are easier to remove with most modern tools.
